Should I do 4 nights POR and 4 nights CR?

As of right now, I have 8 nights at POR for May 27-June 4.

IF codes come out, I would LOVE to stay CR, but also would LOVE the saving.

Should I split stay? We arrive late on a Friday and leave around 10 am the following Saturday.

What would you do?

BTW-I LOVE the monorail!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Two of my favorite resorts!!!! I would do both. Start with POR and then move over to CR. Disney does a good job of transferring your luggage for you. I know what you mean about the savings though!!! But, when a great rate comes out, it's just too hard for me to resist trying out a new resort. This is what happened last summer. We were booked at BWV for the majority of our stay. But, we were going to start our trip off 'cheaply' since we didn't want to use our DVC pts. for week-end nights (uses way too many points). So, I booked us at AllStarMusic. Well, a good rate came out and I changed to POR, one of our very favorite resorts. Okay. Then I got to thinking and decided..'what the heck, let's see what I can get CR for.' So, that's where we ended up for our first two nights. And we loved it. My dd, 11, didn't really want to stay there at first.(yeah, like she gets to pick!!). But after our stay there it is on her list of 'must stay at again' resorts!!

My best vacation to date was the 8 days I spent at POR. I absolutely love the place. It's a world of it's own, removed from the excitement of the parks. Very relaxing and peaceful. I would recommend spending your entire vacation there. Perhaps I'm not the norm but CR holds no interest for me. I have never had any desire to stay there. That aside I feel confident that you will enjoy POR. To me it feel more like a deluxe than a moderate.
