Should I do 1900 Park Fare Breakfast?

Hi everyone! So here's the deal. Heading to Disney in May for 2 weeks. For the last 5 days of the trip it will only be my 5 year old daughter and myself so I've been trying to schedule some cool things for mommy/daughter time. The day in question is a rest day. I have my daughter booked for the Wonderland Tea Party at 2pm that afternoon. Then I got to thinking. I've heard so many good things about breakfast at Park Fare and we have never been for breakfast so I thought I would see what was available. I managed to snag a reservation for 11:45am. This is the only day that this breakfast would work into the plans. if we don't do it this day we won't do it at all. My question is - will this breakfast be overkill since she will be seeing Alice and the Mad Hatter not too long later? (I know Tigger, Pooh, and Mary Poppins are there but my concern is with the wonderland characters.) Would going to this breakfast not make the tea party special? I keep going back and forth and can't decide. Thoughts?

My concern would be if the Alice and Mad Hatter “friends” aren’t the same ones from the morning. I’m not sure how scheduling works there and it’s very possible it could be the same set from breakfast to the tea. If it isn’t your daughter may find it odd that there are different “friends” playing them.

While I enjoy the 1900 breakfast, I think it’s overkill to do both so close together.

Thanks! I never thought of the possibility of having different friends at both. That’s a great point.

I agree with BuzzyBelle, too much in a small window of time. Two character meals/events in one day is a lot. They do take more time since you usually are waiting on their rotation through the room, so IMO it's not a loss to miss the 1900 breakfast and keep the tea instead. My preference for 1900 park is dinner over breakfast. It's Cinderella, Prince Charming and the step sisters/mom; the character interaction at dinner is very fun for adults and kids. Either way, your daughter will enjoy the tea. Have fun!

I agree. Although we enjoyed the character interaction at 1900 Park Fare during breakfast, the food was just okay. If you still wanted to do a character breakfast the same day I would suggest resort hopping to the Polynesian to Ohana for a different mix of characters. Better yet to spread them out over a couple of days. Have a great time!

This is so off topic, but I absolutely love your picture! LOL :rotfl2:

We actually have dinner scheduled earlier in the trip. It's one of my favorite meals! :)

I actually decided to try Cape May for a late breakfast. I've never been to breakfast there either! While I would LOVE a breakfast with Stitch, I've never been a fan of the menu at Ohana.

Thanks!!! It's one of my favorite pictures. In fact these days I kick myself because about 10 years ago they had a pin that was similar to this and now I wish I had bit the bullet and bought it!

I would’ve bought that pin in a second! I am trying pin trading for the first time in March. If you have any tips pm me!

As far as 1900 pf goes, I’ve never eaten there but we are trying breakfast there our next trip. I thought the menu sounded good and I love the characters a lot more than at ohana.
