I was wondering how many people conferm thier ADR's? I am a little worried to do so from reading about people getting thier trips all messed up!?! But I really would like to call and just conferm them. Do you? Would you? Please ease my mind about this:confused3 . Thank's

I did not confirm any of my ADR's and really had no problems. I did go to Chef Mickey's one day with my ADR number in hand and they told me I was scheduled to be at Crystal Palace. Could have been my mistake, not sure. However, the CM cancelled my ADR at Crystal Palace and they took our party of 7 without a problem.

I ALWAYS confirm my ADRs and hotel ressies at least 5 days before we leave. I have always have the people at the check-in desk print out a copy of my ADR #s just so I have them for when we are ready to use them. It is always better to be safe than sorry. The first time we were at Disney (2005) we had ADRs for CRT breakfast with the last seating. When my DH went to check us in, they did not have our ressie # listed, thankfully my DH had the confirmation number with him, so they called upstairs to the restaurant and they confirmed that we were suppose to be there. That was the first and last time that I go to Disney without calling before and confirming EVERYTHING that I do there.

This was the first time we used the DDP, and also the first time we made ADR's in advance. Since we went thru a TA ( and she was great ! Magical Vacations ), she made all of our ADR's. Because of some of the reports that I had read on the Dis, I did call and confirm a week before our trip. There was only 1 minor mistake, and it may have been on our end. We were scheduled for lunch instead of dinner, and it all worked out. But I would call to confirm. Good luck !! :thumbsup2

I never confirm ADR's, but I do always carry a copy of my confirmation numbers with me. Also, the guest services desk of any WDW hotel can print you a copy of all your ADR's.

I made my ADRs for our early December trip at 180 days out. I called and made a few more about a month later.

On Sunday I called WDW Dining and confirmed all of our ADRs and they were perfect. I figured I would call and check now rather than in the frenzy of us getting ready for our trip later on.

It doesn't hurt to call and confirm them...which is why I did!

I called the other day to confirm my ADR's and am SO glad I did. A ressie that was to be made for Sept 25th at Akershus had been put into the computer as Dec. 25th instead. I was transferred to a guest service manager who took care of the situation and got us worked into Akershus on the correct date even though it was technically booked solid.

A week or so before our last trip in March I called to confirm then, too. I had originally had two 'Ohana ADR's, one for breakfast and one for dinner on different days. I'd cancelled the breakfast some time previously. During the call I made to confirm everything was in order I found that the CM had cancelled the wrong 'Ohana meal and our dinner that we wanted so badly was gone. Again, a manager at 'Ohana worked magic (doesn't Disney always?) and got us a table at the perfect time for us and it turned into the best meal experience of our whole trip.

So, for what it's worth, I suggest confirming ADR's.

I book them and then call back the next day to confirm them with the confirmation number. The one time I did not do that I got in trouble, they booked my Feb ressies for March!

I confirmed all my ADR's today for my trip in 2 weeks.
All were accounted for... :thumbsup2
I read these boards and get worried, especially during free dining.
There are so many people with the same name as me I am worried my ADR's will be cancelled by mistake for double booking.

I called last week. Had to confirm my Wishes cruise anyway so also confirmed my ADRs just to be on the safe side. Better safe than sorry.

I would call to confirm. I had re-scheduled my DD's BBB reservation to a half hour later, but never updated my list. When I called to confirm, they told me the confirmation # I provided had been canceled. After several agonizing minutes, the CM was able to locate that I had a later reservation then I had remembered (of course after I emphatically insisted it was the time I provided :confused3 ) and gave me the correct #.

I also called to cancel an ADR for Donald's Breakfastosourus and it was no where to be found. Fortunately I wasn't planning to use it so I wasn't upset.

So my advice is to call to confirm. It can be frustrating enough over the phone. Being at the podium with hungry tired kids and trying to work it out in the middle of a crowd of hungry tired people can be doubly frustrating!!

I won't be doing that because everytime I call to change my ADR's I basically confirm my other ones. :)

Always reconfirm everything, just to be sure. I plan to reconfirm flights, hotel reservations, town car reservation, and ADRs, and this is why . . .

We just checked our hotel reservation at Shades of Green for 9/29, really just to see if a potential price increase would apply to our reservation. Lo and behold, they had our arrival and departure dates wrong! Yikes! Luckily, we were able to correct the reservation . . . but what if we hadn't called to check? Never hurts to reconfirm everything - better safe than sorry.
