Should I change my vacation dates??

My family has a DL/San Diego trip all planned for mid-July but it would actually work out better to go June 22nd IF we can change all of our hotels, which is probably a big IF. Would the weather be better in June? Would the crowds be better too? Thanks for any input!

Weather is usually nice in June. We have what's called June Gloom which is cloudy and cool in morning burning off during noon or so. It usually doesn't get very hot either.

Going in June is great! We have always gone in june... Great weather, tolerable crowds, and cool nights!

We have gone at the end of June both of the last two times and found it great. You are just before the real big crowds arrive, everything is open, the SoCal APs have started being closed out on the weekends, its not too hot but still hot enough to swim. Only negative is the June Gloom someone else mentioned, it all depends on the wind I think, we had it in 2004 but not in 2006

I've been to DL in July (granted a long, long, long, long time ago), but in my experience, not pretty place (crowd-wise).

If you can, go in June.

Crowds and lower temps.
If you can swing it, I would do it.

I am so wiped! I just spent HOURS on the computer and the phone trying to switch everything. I am so excited to be going in June and want to thank everyone for their input!!! The only bummer is I have to change rooms while at HOJOs but that can just be on our DCA day that we change mid-day.

I did somehow end up snagging an entertainment rate for one of the nights so need to get an entertainment card! More researching!!

I am so excited, and it's been nothing but rain and snow (yes, snow) for the past 2-3 weeks so in 2 weeks I'll be in sunshine. I think the June Gloom would still be okay with us but thanks for mentioning that so we can expect it on our San Diego days.

I still have so much to do planning wise, but I'm jazzed!
