Should I change my Ressies to BCV from BWV?

We are off to BWV's in October, and I was thinking about changing to BCV ( I am currently waitlisted)...if it comes up should I switch?

I love my home resort but have stayed at all of the DVC resorts on points...except BCV. I would love to hear why I should/should not change!!

I own at BWV. Last Aug, we decided to try BCV because it was brand new. Our 1 bedroom was beautiful, and we really enjoyed our stay. It was hot, so we got to use Stormalong Bay a few times also.

That said, for me, I prefer the atmosphere at the Boardwalk. BCV is very quiet and peaceful at night. BWV always has something happening within an easy walk.

As far as the room, I preferred the bathroom layout at BWV. Our 1 bedroom at BCV had the large bath area with jacuzzi tub and sink. Then in a separate room was the shower and sink. Off of that room, there was another tiny room with the toilet. BWV only had 2 areas....jacuzzi and sink, and then other room with shower, sink, and toilet.

Really, both resorts are beautiful. If you have stayed at all the others, I'd definitely give BCV a try.....I don't think you will regret it.

I would say give BCV a try but then again, BCV is my home resort and I LOVE IT! If you like to swim or lounge by the pool, SAB is fantastic. I like to sun and people watch and there is lots happening at SAB!

Although we stayed at BWI, not BWV, I didn't like having to walk outside on the Boardwalk to get something to eat or drink especially when it was raining. At BCV, you have covered walkways to reach the restaurants.

I like the beach theme better than the carnival theme.

Parking is more convenient at BCV. At BW, you have to use valet or else park a long way away. At BCV, you can use valet if you prefer or you can park right at one end of the BCV which is VERY convenient.

These are simply my personal opinions and everyone must decide for themselves what they like best.

Thanks for you input, I guess I will see what happens with the Reservation waitlist!! I think I may have to check out BCV if it comes up...I will check it out either way at some point!!

We stayed at BCV last summer shortly after it opened. Six minute walk to EPCOT. It is a very beautiful resort. I own both BCV and BWV and our favorite is BWV. The primary reason is there is more activity at BWV.

Accomdations at both are superior and you won't be disappointed. At a future stay we are planning VWL--the workout area is great at VWL.

I think the location and activties at the BWV & BCV are the best. If you want it a little quieter stay at BCV.
