Our vacation was originally booked for 4 of us. It was me, dh, dd, and ds. DH recently split and is no longer coming to Disney with us. I am now wondering if I should keep the ADR's the same. He had chosen a few of the restaurants, but I am not sure now if I should change them to more kid friendly places now that it is just me and the kids.
The places I am second guessing are
Flying Fish
Jiko's
Brown Derby
LeCellier

Has anyone gone to these places with children. Was it enjoyable for them?

Have eaten at Le Cellier and Brown Derby with DS multiple times (from 8 years old to now, 17). They are fine, but not sure of ages of you kids and there taste. You can see kids menus on allearsnet to see.

Connears

I have taken my boys to Le Cellier several times. They were 5, 7, and 9 the first time that we went. It was fine and there were alot of kids there. You should be fine there. Enjoy your trip! Make the most of it!!

How old are your kids and are you on the DDP? 3 of the ones you mentioned are signature dining.

My DD (now 8) loves to eat at HBD. We've also eaten at LC and it's fine for kids. We aren't eating there this time-we were unhappy the last time we ate there. The tables are really close together, it was noisy, there was food on the floor, and my DM never got her wine. Our server also seemed either very distracted, or very busy.

We haven't done Jiko or Flying Fish yet. Can't say about them.

Of your other ADRs how many character meals do you have? If the kids are of the age to enjoy them, then I would make sure to have a few of them. Also, maybe instead of Jiko you could switch to Boma. It's buffet (non-character), something for everyone, and less $$ than Jiko. Also more casual.

Those are my thoughts. Sorry you're DH split but you and the kids will have great time!

Is this your children's first trip? if so, you may want to change for more kid friendly places. I have never been to any of those restaurants before, so i cannot really say how kid friendly they are.

My kids are 5 and 8. I have 22 adrs for our 12 day trip. The majority are all kid friendly ones. This will be our second trip to disney.
The other places I picked are
Cape May Cafe Character
Spirit of aloha
hollywood and vine character
sci fi dine
mickeys bbq
tusker house character
crt
50's prime time
ohanas character
biergarten
boma
hoop de doo
crystal palace character
ltt character
tonys town sq
1900 park character (we are trying breakfast and dinner)
chef mickeys character

these ones i was pretty sure they will like
i just was not sure how the other ones would be for kids and if i should change them
thanks for the advice i feel a little better about the ones you have taken children to and have been ok
