Should I cancel waitlist?

At first I had May 2 to the 8 booked for SSR. I am waitlisted for AKV or AKL Studio SV. I just called DVC Member Services again.... and was able to do a split stay. The first 3 nights at SSR and the last 3 at WLV. Never stayed at neither, and have AKV for August. Should I keep the waitlist or do SSR and WLV?

I think it depends on you and whether or not you plan to eventually try all the resorts.

If that is the case, I would keep SSR and VWL and cancel the WL. However, if you are really unsure about either, then I would continue it.

We tried VWL last summer and we loved it, especially for the ease to MK. If you are planning some time at that park, then stay with VWL because the boat ride was quick and enjoyable.

SSR has great access to DTD as well and if you see that being part of your trip, you will have easy access there.

I am all for trying all of the resorts, but moving can eat up most of your day. Since you are only looking at 3 days at each resort, I would skip the split stay this trip.

I'm with disnuts .. 6 nights is too short for a split stay. I second think splits at 7 nights. Especially if you are not renting a car. Waitlist all 6 nights at akv and wvl, but don't split.
