Should I call to confirm before we leave?

We booked through WDW travel, we leave next week on Friday am, should I call our hotel and make sure that we are good to go, or is that unneccesary? We already got our ticket package in the mail. And we have lined up the dinsney express to get us from the airport to HOJO, do we need to call them and let them know what time we get in or do we just show up. Thanks so much. Trying to make sure we have everything ready to go! Any thing else I should do last minute? It's our first big trip as a family and first time flying with kids! But so excited!

I'm always nervous about over bookings and things like that so I make sure to get email confirmations and print every single one out...one for airport, one for hotel, one for tickets to DL. That way if there's a problem I have proof so it's at their fault and they have to fix it at no cost to you.

I always call to confirm our hotel reservation. We have never had a problem, thankfully, but I figure if I call (and get the name of the person I spoke with) and then show up to a problem....I have more documentation to make certain we get a room.
