Should I buy resale or from Disney?

I want to join DVC but can't decide whether I should go the resale route or buy direct from Disney. I would like to make either BCV or BWV my home resort and was told by a guide this afternoon that both are available for $74/point with a February use year if I sell back my 2003 points. Can I get a resale much cheaper? (I'm looking at starting with 200 points). If so, what are the chances of Disney not exercising its ROFR? and are there any steps I can take to minimize the possibility of ROFR?

I would see if you can find a resale with banked or current year points. Otherwise, you may be better off going through Disney. I've noticed alot of the listings on the resale boards have points borrowed so that you don't get all your points for 2003.
