Should I book WL now for Dec?

I'm trying to decide if I should go ahead and book my package with WL for Dec 10-17 or should I hold out a bit longer and see if Disney comes up with another "deal" of some sort! I'm concerned as the standard rooms are already gone for the first 10 days and I've already changed my dates now to the 10-17 because of that. How difficult is it to switch from a package you've already booked if they come out with another special? Last year they posted the special sometime in the summer (though I cant find when) and I got the POR for 94/night. I do not have an AP or AAA, so I'm just general public. Any opinions on whether I should go ahead and book or wait for the next promotion? It's driving me crazy!!!

My personal opinion is you should not wait; go ahead and book. Disney doesn't seem to be offering as many good discounts as in the past. Just a general consensus around the board. Tourism has picked up significantly. As long as you monitor the boards religiously, as we all do you should be able to get a heads up if a good discount comes out and change your package over. At this time, unless you have an AP, AAA rates, either room only or package, is the best thing going.

I called for rates for December 9-11 at WL, and the only rack rates available were for courtyard view. Standard view and Woods View were gone. I would book as soon as possible.

I agree with rlduval and puffkin - the WL is a popular choice for December. Even if more deals are announced, availability for the "deal" at the WL may be limited or non-existent. If you really have your heart set on the WL, book soon!
