Should I book today?

I just got my PIN code...I'm so excited and anxious! My TA is out of the office til Monday. Can I wait til Monday to book?

If you want to use your ta, I would wait. If you book through disney it can be a pain to get it switched over.

On the other hand, if you are worried about securing a room, i think they will let you make a reservation but hold it without payment. If they still do that and will hold it long enough, you could do that then contact your TA on Monday.

I always book through Disney and have never had a problem. You could wait if you feel more comfortable but I just think it is easier to go straight to Disney! Good luck.

I have a question if you will Do you mean deluxe room or resorts? If room depending on what resort. If BWI they have only so many deluxe's rooms & they go fast. I would book it yourself. Not that hard to do other than waiting on the phone I think they will hold the package for 7 days now so that will give you enough time to wait until your TA Good luck ! Will you explode with excitement well yes If it was me I be calling Disney

Personally, I'd just call Disney and book through them. The day we got our pin, we called Disney that night. (seriously, I couldn't WAIT for work to get over... I got the pin and work and almost cried at my desk. my DH was kind of thinking he was married to a freak! )
I got the most amazing CM on the phone to help me...she and I were on the phone for probably 1/2 hour just going through everything. Room, hotel, dining plan, park tickets...everything. She gave me tips on what kinds of activities and restaurants we should do w/ our DD4. And she explained everything about putting money down on our reservation on line to dining reservations.... she was wonderful. Plus, they'll ask what you're celebrating....our CM made a really big deal out of it and I know it's probably silly, but it meant something to me because we're pretty darn excited to take our DD4 for the first time. She just made the whole experience wonderful.

Also, with the pins there are only a certain number of rooms assigned so when you get one, you should grab it if you know what week you want to go. Good luck and congrats !!!

The AKL club level rooms are included with the PIN, but they are all sold out. *sigh* So I booked a savannah view. Thanks for the encouragement to call today. My TA had a co-worker covering for her "emergencies" so I called her. Who would have thought that a PIN code would constitute a travel emergency.

For future reference, if you cannot reach your TA and are anxious to book, you can do so and then transfer the reservation to your TA when they are available. I am sure he or she would be grateful for your thoughtfulness, and then you know that if a better offer comes out, they will make the change.
