Should I book or wait? WWYD?

We are going President's day week, 3 days after all the discounts end (and free dining is blocked). Rack rate is insanely high for that week. I can get a condo in Windsor hills for about $800. We'll have a car so that's not an issue.

Do you think there'll be discounts offered that week? I don't want to lose a good condo waiting for a discount that might not materialize or even be enough to make it worth it.

If you haven't already check out this webite. It gives historical discounts that have been offered. Although this is a guide - who knows what Disney is going to do this year!!

Unless things have changed since I last booked a WDW resort, you can make a ressie, put down one day's deposit and cancel a 3 or so days out and get the deposit back. Also, we've booked way out and then had codes, discounts etc come out and I just called and changed to the better deal, sometimes numerous times before finally going. Bottom line, I'd make the ressies to get my foot in the door with the knowledge that I can make it better or even back out without penalty. Bird in hand.
