Should I book day by day or just wait to book at check-out date??

We are planning our first trip home in Dec. '04. I know that I can book in January. My question is....if we are going to check-in on Sat. Dec. 18 and stay until Thurs the 23rd, should I just book the whole thing 11 months from the 23rd or start calling day by day for the 18 onward? I have no idea how crowded it gets this week just before Christmas. We're looking for a 1 bdrm. at BWV. Any help would be greatfully appreciated. Thanks.

I'd book day by day if it you're set on those dates. Good luck.

Just to add to what Dean said - a definite yes on the day by day especially for Standard or Boardwalk view. If you tell MS what you are doing, they will note your "optimal check-out date" and wait until you book that night to send a confirmation.

Should I book day by day for next Oct 30 thru Nov 4 2004 for a 2 bedroom Standard View at BWV? Or can I book at the end of my stay?

My call day starts Dec 1 which is when we'll be at WDW!!!!! It might be difficult to call at 9:00a each day from the World!

Any opinions?

That's food & wine festival time & halloween, I would book day by day for standard. You probably don't have to call right at 9:00am.

I'll second (or third) the suggestion to call day by day for both those reservations if the resort, dates and accommodation size are important to you.
