Should I Book Atlantis Now?

DS (9) and I are sailing for our birthdays at the end of August. It is just the two of us. He absolutely love waterparks and his birthday falls on the day we are at Nassau. I want to take him to Atlantis for the day. I am looking for opinions about booking a room. I can book a room right now for $284 total. Do you think it'll get any better than that? This is the best I have seen. It is a summer promotion price. Do you think travelzoo will have something better if I wait? Should I grab a room at that price now?

Try the Comfort Suites next door. They are usually cheaper and if you book with them you get the bracelets also. I don't know if you really wanted a room at the Atlantis if not then do the cheapest route. I heard they are also selling day passes now with full access but I don't know how much they are.

When we were there last month, the full access day pass was $105 per person at Atlantis. DCL was selling an excursion for $155 per person that you could only book onboard. So, so unless you really want a room, that $105 pass would be cheaper for just two people. If you get a room, it may not be ready until mid to late afternoon, at either Atlantis or Comfort Suites.

I got a rate at CS for this past Dec for just $110. Late August is hurricane season so you may find some specials running closer to August. You can guarantee if there's a special it will be posted on here but you can also keep an eye on travelzoo.

Boy is this timely! I have been on the phone all day trying to figure this out for our cruise on 8/12. The day pass - which for our family would come to $360 ($105 per adult and $75 per child) is only available on a walk up basis on a first come fist serve basis the day of the visit to Atlantis. Its a 50/50 chance they told me that it would be available the day a ship is in port.

This is info directly from Atlantis. We can book a guaranteed room with wristbands for $389 on their summer special. Unfortunately, as of 40 minutes ago, there reservations thru the phone were not working and they said to call back or try their web specials. I did try their web special, but to get this rate you have to book "summer packages" and that tab is not working!

I got a $253 rate thru Expedia (comes to $312 total) MAY NOT include water park/pool bands. The Expedia man said that he would not guarantee pool access to me, but could guarantee beach/aquariam...

I think we will pay the extra thru Atlantis!! Yikes!!
