I was SO hoping they'd open up flights to include my return flight on august 6th, but since they haven't, i am wondering, should i at least book the flight down, from pit to mco, which is at $79 now to be sure i have seats ( i need 8) going down at least. I am afraid once the dates are extended further into august, all the down flights will be booked and i'll see the dreaded UNAVAILABLE on the time i want. Then if it goes DOWN, should i rebook? I need 8 tickets and although i'm trying to get us the best possible price, i don't want shut out altogether either. Anyone have any insight into this idea? :scratchin

I've never booked airline before, but this is what I did. I booked one way in July for our flight to Orlando. I figure the rates will go down with a DING or whatever. If we can get a discounted rate, the credit will be there for the return flight on Aug 4....which is a date not yet released. We have no way of using a credit within a year, so it actually will work to our advantage to book the one way now and the return trip later. Also, if we don't get a reduced rate for the one way already booked, at least we have a decent rate locked in.
