Should I be worried memory maker won’t link on the app?

Hello all,
Just booked a package including memory maker. My hotel and tickets are showing in the app. The memory maker was giving me an error that it is linked to my husbands name (who doesn’t have an mde accout or app). Called and a cast member linked it to my name. It shows correctly on the website but still getting the same error when using the app. I have called and emailed Disney and all cast members assure me that since it is linked to my account it is fine even though the app still won’t let me link it. Anyone have any insight on this? I just don’t want to wast vacation time on this issue so hoping it is resolved now. Thanks for the help!
 
Unfortunately the app can have a mind of its own. Sometimes it shows everything correctly, and sometimes it doesn't show anything at all. It's hit or miss. While I know it's very frustrating to not have all of your stuff show up, it should just ben an issue with the app. Everything should be correct in the actual "system" itself. Heck, I can't even get the app to load up properly for me most of the time, let alone not show everything properly. So, my insight is that the app doesn't work great, lol. ;)
 
I feel like mine always told me to link memory maker, when it was clearly in my invoice. I never worried about it, and it worked fine.
 
Since they said everything appeared to be linked correctly I wouldn't worry. I would also try to go onto My Disney Experience on an actual computer to see how it responds as well.

Either way, as long as you tap your Magic Band everywhere you go for your photos, I personally wouldn't worry about it. If it's not working for another person to be linked, you can always send them the photos if it really is an issue, but I doubt it if they say all is well. The only time it can potentially go wrong is on rides in which you get photos for, but go on your Magic Band by itself rather than you tap on the photos. As almost all the time it works, but occasionally might get another family instead of your own. It's only happened to me once in two years of having an AP (which automatically comes with PhotoPass).
 

You still get all linked pictures in your MDE account, regardless if you have MM or not. Rides and Photopass photographers don’t verify you have MM before taking any pictures.
Worst case, you will have pictures with the Photopass watermark, and photopass support can “unlock” those pictures later.
One trip where I upgraded to an AP, a few pictures were still locked, we sent an e-mail to Photopass support and after a business day or 2, they apologized and unlocked all our photos.

This is often true for me.
However, the pictures have always been in the main system.
I cannot book FPs on the App, this is a new problem I have been getting. I and my Family and friends never show up when I click on make FP on the app.

Sounds like all should be fine and I appreciate knowing that even a worst case scenario will still not be something I have to worry about in the moment of getting the pics taken. Thanks for putting my mind at ease! There are so many other things to worry about I’m glad I can at least be done with this issue lol.
 
We've had issues with MM and MDE before. It is frustrating for sure, but we've always been able to retrieve our photos later when I use a desktop computer.
 
I will further add that despite any issues or glitches I've had with the app and MDE in general, my plans, reservations, etc. have never been screwed up in reality. All of my stuff has always still been in tact.

That’s good to know. Maybe prevent me from a panic if I see things missing lol!

Mine did not show up in the "Tickets/Memory Maker" part of MDE until after my package was paid in full. Prior to that it showed up only in my iOS App under my room charges section of my room reservation.
