Should I be expecting something?

We have a about a month to go...umm 32 days to be exact. I have received a reservation confirmation letter from Disney that's it. Someone mentioned they had received their lugage tags already and I think thye are booked after us?

Do I receive anything else from Disney? I don't want to be a pain and I do plan to follow up about 2 weeks before just to make sure everything is okay but I was wondering if I'll get something in the mail?

The Disney luggage tags are probably for the new Magic Express service that doesn't begin until (mid?) May. This service requires special tags so that they can take your bags directly to your hotel without you having to go claim them at the airport.

Since you are going in a month the service isn't available yet -thus no need for tags.

I received three separate mailings from Disney. First the Blue folded card with the maps, then a one page letter with my deposit listed in a regular business envelope . Then a large white envelope with a clear plastic folder inside holding a hotel voucher, a letter listing all members going and what plan was ordered in it. This letter had listed on it any special requests....(which were wrong, by the way). The large white envelope also had the luggage tags. And we are going in April and will not qualify for the airport express at that time. I think that we received the large white envelope about one week ago. We will be arriving at Disney April 12th

Hi

We're going in 31 days also, and we have a Room only ressie, no plan or anything. All I've received is the blue envelope listing the room, our deposit and requests.

I'm not expecting any tags, never have before, but maybe that's if you're on a certain plan.

The Luggage tags are for people with a package. I always recieve mine 2 weeks before I leave. I hope they have different ones this year for the 50th celebration.

We paid off our package about 2 weeks before our 45 day due date. We got our clear plastic folder, with our itinerary, hotel voucher, closing voucher, and 4 tinkerbelle luggage tags. the date printed was March 8th, 44 days out from our trip, and I recieved it on Sat. the 19th.

We are not using Magical Express, since we are a week or 2 early, but we still got luggage tags. We have the MYW package. I think they wait, until you are within your 45 days, to send them out, since most people won't change or cancel after that.

I think I remember the luggage tags now from our last trip. We booked through a travel agent so we got the tags through them last time. I suspect they'll come from Disney this time.

I'm so excited I can't stand it. Everyday I'm doing the count down and remind the kids. We are going with friends so just this morning I called to remind them the countdown number.

I think alot has to do with your TA what you recieve. When I forst booked I recived a envelope with my Package and a paper to sign saying thats the package I am agreeing to and the next folder I recieve is 2 weels before I leave for Disney.

It depends on whether you got a room only or a package. For a room only all I got in January was the blue envelope with my dates, hotel, total price, and deposit listed on it.

I'm leaving May 13th and I've got the same thing this time. I was told when I applied the AP holder's rate and gave them my flight information that I would be getting my ME luggage tags about a week before I left. Since you have to have the ME booked at least 10 days before you leave, I will be calling about two weeks out to verify ME, flight arrival and departure times, that my room is paid in full, that they have my requests as far as room location, my PS times and numbers, and my tour times and confirmation numbers. I always double check everything.

The tags I got last week had Tinkerbell on them...same as last year. I'm glad Tink never ages though!

I Got It! It arrived last week. The package with a clear plastic folder carrying all things Disney. My hotel reservations and Tink luggage tags. Yippee! It feels so real and only 25 days to go....I can barely stand it!
