Should I Avoid F&G First Day?

They just announced the dates for Flower and Garden, and the first day is our planned Epcot Day. We are planning to get there for RD, do the rides we want in FW and then have lunch around noon at Villa Napoli. Will it be crazy busy even early?

I can probably switch it to another day, but this day worked best in our plans. I'm also thinking it will continue to be busy toward the first weekend, so another day might not be any better. For those who have been, is the first day busy like the first day of F&W, or not that bad?

It's a Wednesday, and it's a week not likely to have many school breaks, and it's not as popular as F&W so my guess is it'll be fine. However if I was a local I'd be there later in the afternoon.

I have been there for the first day several times, and it wasn't a problem. The first weekend may be busier, but since the first day is mid-week, you should be fine.

I've been there the first day a number of times and it was no problem. F&G doesn't tend to get the big crowds like F&W does.

F&G is a less busy time of year for Epcot. You will be fine any day

You'll definitely be fine. The only downside of going early to F&G is that the flowers aren't at their peak beauty yet. (But it's still quite lovely!)

We stopped into Epcot to see the flowers on F&G opening morning last year and it was fine until we left around 1pm.

It won't be swamped but it will be much busier than other weekdays. Like a weekend day. We have been there many times on opening day.
