Should DCL think about Amping-Up Concierge?

DW and I have Concierge on Dream, have Sky on Oasis and Yacht Club on MSC. Considering the $$$$ vs Value Received, we can't justify spending thousands more for less received, specifically the $$$ upcharge for DCL compared to other lines.

Wondering if those who have cruised other lines at Concierge Level in addition to DCL feel that DCL should provide more for $$$ spent OR simply bring their price down?

p.s.- really enjoy DCL but not the extra $$$ required

The Wish has a concierge pool, 2 story suites etc. so they do seem to be taking a page from the other cruise lines’ books.

We did concierge on the Fantasy. We were celebrating several big milestones and splurged. But speaking specifically from a price point (for us)....it wasn't worth the extra expense. We'd rather book more cruises (DCL and non DCL) than one concierge cruise. If DCL were to improve or upgrade services to concierge, I would think they'd also raise prices.

Probably not. Concierge is definitely lackluster compared to comparable offerings on other cruise lines, but it’s still the best offering in the ship and Disney doesn’t seem to have any trouble selling it. I’m just not sure that they much incentive to add a ton to it—I think they’re already charging as much as they think they can get away with.

When concierge is consistently sold out or close to sold out, what would be the incentive for them to offer more? We only sail DCL when we are interested in what is going on with the ship, quite honestly - the shows, events and other unique, Disney-branded offerings. When we want more interesting itineraries and more luxurious amenities, we go with other cruise lines.

I whole heartily agree. I think every CL has their own "specialty" and it depends on what you want.

We don’t even consider concierge for DCL. We have found more value with other line’s loyalty programs than DCL’s concierge!
