He offically turned down the job as the lead singer......

EDIT: PLEASE ANSWER THE TITLE AS ABOVE, NOT THE THREAD TITLE.

Personally, I think he's a fool for turning it down... but that's just me!!

I could see how this is potentially a good move for him.....I think he has a pretty good shot of making it on his own....and also might lose a lot of his fan base if he got involved in a band like Fuel.....

Also, he didn't make the decision blindly, he mentioned on a few shows that he had talked to some already established recording artists who advised against him accepting the Fuel offer..... :confused3

Whatever his decision, I still love him!!!!

Duh... I'm stupid. I voted no but that should be a yes. I read the title question as the poll question

Fuel was already a band 'going down the chute' they haven't come out with anything new in quite sometime.

Chris going out on his own he will be 'new to the scene' and I think people will want to hear what HE can do, not pick up where Fuel left off.

Rob Thomas was one of those. Rob had some very good points as to why Chris should decline the offer.

Chris would have been the biggest thing about Fuel for a while and I'm sure that wouldn't have settled well with the rest of the band.

DOH, I see the problem. I will edit the OP.

you just confused the heck out of me. I answered the poll wrong. I answered yes but I meant no he should not have taken the job.

Too late at night I guess.

I guess. I did make it confusing at first, but I did post 2 EDITS that showed the way you were to vote.... still, not my shining moment! ;)

I don't know much about this band, but honestly, I think Chris can make it on his own, so why go with any band? He can have his own musician's and call the shots IMHO....

How do you know he officially declined the offer? Just curious if I've missed any articles on him

It was on my TV station tonight, and on the radio today.
