Should BWV Improve Its Bus Service?

BWV shares its bus service with four other resorts. It's the last stop on the way back, and it can seem like an eternity after a day at the parks. It's the last stop on the way out, which is great if there's room on the bus, and a disaster if there isn't. This seems totally sub-standard for a deluxe resort.

So do you think that BWV should take action to improve this service? Understand that this would probably increase BWV's members dues.

I can't vote in this poll because after many, many trips to this resort I have never found the bus service to be horrible. I do not think BWV bus service is any better or any worse than any other deluxe or DVC WDW resort.

this is not a DVC issue since there are 7 resorts involved. Swan, dolphin,YC,BC, BCV,BWI and BWV. Why should we BWV owners be the only ones to pay for 7 resorts. Disney should do this on there own.

I agree that this is not a BWV issue. If anything, it's worse for BCV members because if I remember correctly BCV is picked up first. (Then YC, then BWV). Plus Swan and Dolphin is picked up even before BCV, et al.

From what I remember, the bus goes to Swan, then Dolphin, YC, BCV/BC then BWV last. I think that they should drop the Swan and Dolphin, and make them pay for their own service since they are not a Disney resort. If they don't perhaps they could go to those resorts last instead of first.

I disagree that it is not a DVC issue. Each resort contracts individually with the WDW transportation for their service. Since BWV and BCV are part of another WDW resort, they SHOULD have some input into this decision. I would suspect that the arrangement between S&D, YC, BC, and BW, was negotiated before DVC was an issue, and now there is a problem with numbers. I think, at the very least, S&D should have seperate bus service since they are not even Disney owned hotels.

cannot understand the logic behind this conclusion-BWV has it worse than BCV because often by the time the bus gets to BWV (last) there is not enough room for very many of the guests waiting...

I too did not vote--no single answer can capture the problem--witht he lousy service and the disproportionate charging of BWV owners for the service--the answer I would pick is the bus service needs to be improved OR they need to stop overcharging BWV owners for the lousy service. or maybe both

I do agree with PKS44 that BWV owners should not be paying more for the bus service then BCV owners. That makes absolutely no sense at all.
Maybe it has been an error in what BWV owners are charged for bus service and now that it has been brought to Disney's attention BWV owners will get a credit and our dues will go down for a few years! Well, one can always hope! LOL!

We only use the busses to MK. This past week we used them 3 times, all in the evening, it wasn't too bad. The first 2 times, a bus marked "special" pulled up empty and took us to MK. The third time (MVMCP), it was pretty full and we had to stand. Going back, on Saturday night S&D had their own bus. It was shared the other 2 nights (very few people got off at S&D, no wonder they don't have their own bus). While it could be improved, I would not want to pay alot higher dues for it, especially when the other resorts (including the BW Inn) will benefit from it also.
