shortcut to Disney from Splendid China?

I don't know the shortcut from Splendid China to Disney but as we are staying in that location in two weeks I would love to hear about it. Anyone please?

When you come out of the road leading from Splendid China you will be on the 192. You can turn left or right. If you turn LEfT then you need BLACK LAKE ROAD which will be on the right hand side.....it is marked before you reach it and there is a set of lights.....turn right and follow Black Lake road into Sherberth Rd (take a left) and this brings you onto Disney Property in about 30 seconds. You will be near Animal Kingdom lodge.

If you turn right onto the 192, then take Sherberth Rd (Just after Holiday Inn Maingate West) and follow above directions! This will save you so much time!

If you have Simons book (Brits Guide 2003) there is a map that marks this on page 64.

Black Lake Road seems to be the wrong direction to me - you'd need to double back. If you were coming from further along the 192 (Lindfields, maybe) or out on the US27, it makes sense, but from Formosa Gardens Blvd (which Splendid China is on), I would say it's quicker to turn right onto the 192. At the next set of lights (Entry Point/Sherberth Road), turn left onto Sherberth Road and follow it for a mile or so until you hit the lights. Turn left at the lights for Animal Kingdom Lodge and right for everywhere else on Disney. If your destination is Animal Kingdom, you need to do a u-turn after a few hundred yards. You will see the toll-booths on your left and shortly afterwards, a gap in the central reservation where you can turn back. For everywhere else, just follow the signs. Heading back, you need to follow the signs for AK and AKL. As you approach AK, the road splits - right hand lane for AK and left hand land for AKL. The left lane takes you back down to the lights and it's a left onto Sherberth Road.

Yes, From Formosa Gardens it makes much more sense to turn right onto the 192 and left into Sherberth. I mentioned the other route in case others in villas on US 27 were interested really.

Thanks again for your trouble. I think I've got it now. I think as we're staying at Indian Creek then the right onto the 192 sounds good.
