Short Weekend trip to Disney

I just got back from our short, unexpected trip to DW. My mom and I just decided on Wednesday that we would like to take a weekend trip to Disney, since I have work during the week. We haven't been there since September, and we were having withdrawal. We are going again the end of June, but we couldn't wait that long. So, thursday night we booked our room at the CS. Our plane left at 6:00 on Friday. We arrived at the hotel around 9:45, checked in and got a room in the 9B building (perfect location..very close to lobby and food court). My aunt and uncle were staying there, and we didn't tell them we were coming. We knocked on their door at 10:00 at night and I thought my aunt was going to have a heart attack. We finally went to bed around 11:30 and got up the next mormning around 8:30. We went to the saratoga springs and had breakfast in their food court. from there, we went and parked at the beach club and took a boat ride over to Epcot. We went on Spaceship earth. This was the first time we did it since it re-opened. we waited about 20 mins to get on. It was cute. I loved the end how it puts your pic on cartoon bodies..but I don't want to spoil it too much for anyone who hasn't done it yet. From there, we decided to do the countries. We had to do Mexico because that's our favorite. then, we just took a long walk around all the countries. After that, we took a boat ride to HS. We went on TOT, and only waited about 10-15 mins. That was the only ride we did there , since we had to move fast with such limited time. After HS, we took a boat ride back to the beach club, and then drove back to CS. My mom needed a rest, although I could've gone all night Around 5:00 we left and my aunt and uncle drove us over to the GF, my favorite hotel. We walked around and did some shopping in their gift shops, and then took the monorail over to the MK. We went straight to POTC. We waited about 20 mins for that one. The lines weren't too bad, but there were alot of kids on their senior trips there. After Pirates, we went over to the HM. Next, we went to Splash Mountain. We got big plastic bags from the gift shop to use to stay dry..it didnt work We sat in the back, where we usually dont get too wet, but this time it got us when we were at the beginning of the ride. The other boat came down, and a huge splash came over us. we were soaked, and we didn't even get wet during the big drop. After SM, we went and got fastpasses for winnie the pooh. We headed over to the TTA. I love that ride, it is soo relaxing and nice at night. We then went on Philharmagic, and then went back to WTP. By the time we did all this it was 10:00 and time for Wishes. We decided to head out before the parade started at 11. We stopped on MS to get ice cream. We waited forever, because of course the line we picked was sooo slow. we went into some of the MS giftshops which were mobbed. You couldn't even move. Finally we headed back to our hotel. We got back there close to 12, and had to go right to bed. The Magical express was picking us up at 3:15 for our 6 AM flight 6 AM was the only flight available since we decided to go with such short notice. So around 2:45 after about 2 hours of sleep, our alarm went off and we were so depressed about leaving. We arrived back home in South Jersey around 9 AM. I went back to bed until 3.
So those are the details of our 1 day in Disney. It was way too short, but definitely worth it. I just can't wait to go back in June. We also have reservations for September for the free dining, as well as December, and January. I am just nervous about how I will get off work for these trips, but hopefully it will work out
