My husband is going to a conference at the Hilton in Anaheim, MLK weekend. Do you think it is worth it for me and my 2 teenage boys to travel for the weekend? We will be traveling from Massachusetts, so it will be a long flight. Can we do both parks in 2 days? Is it worth it or should we just wait until the summer when we would have more time? Of course, the hotel and my husband's flight would be paid for. Thanks for the advise.
A longer trip would be better, but you could definitely get a large chunk of things done in two days. You could get pretty much everything in CA Adventure done in one day and most of the things in Disneyland. If you'll have a chance to come back for a longer time you should; but if this would be your only chance (at least for a while), two days would probably be enough time to at least get your "must do's" done.
DL is Jan is great! but keep in mind if you're going on a holiday weekend it will be more crowded. Also keep in mind that if you're going on a holiday weekend hours will be longer, usually the parks close at 6 & 8 in January.
