So I am going to find myself in Orlando and have one day to visit Universal Studios with my wife. It will be this Monday, February 22. We have about 6 hours that we can spend in the park from 9AM - 3pm (we don't have early entry).

Most of the visit we would want to spend at Harry Potter. I was thinking to go to Gringotts first, then the wand shop, then wander around the shops of Diagon Alley. Then after a couple hours(?) head over to see Hogwarts and the Forbidden Journey. If there was time left over, take in some other rides as time allows (Spiderman, if possible). I realize I would be missing a lot because of the short time table, but thats fine with us. We are glad just to have any time to go.

Is the schedule above reasonable? Should we go to Hogwarts first? I was looking at the Universal Studios app wait times and it looks like the line for Forbidden Journey is typically longer. Are the app wait times usually accurate?

Also, I read elsewhere that on days where there is early entry, they will let not early entry people in like 20 minutes early too. Is that true?

Any insight appreciated.

if you have never been before, use www.universalorlando.com and look at the map for the parks.
read up on what is in the parks for potter and where all are located.

make a plan now on how you want to spend your day but have a backup plan in case ride lines are too lengthy.
do take advantage on the rides that have single rider entrance.

this will save you time since you have a limited 6 hours in the parks.

They let both early entry and regular entry people in about 15 minutes early, so make sure you are at the gates well before that.

Crowds should be low since nothing is really going on right now. You should be able to get quite a bit done.

You'll want the queue times to be longer at Forbidden Journey than Gringotts since there is more to see while in line. Don't let that deter you. The queues in both are just as good as the attractions!

Have fun!!!
