short cut to Space Mountain?

This question reveals me as someone who only goes to WDW every few years (sadly... ) - as you are walking down Main Street, is there a road you can go on towards Tomorrowland (that cuts in front of TOmorrowland Terrace) BEFORE you get to the Hub? Or do you need to go all the way to the HUB to get to Tomorrowland? I was looking on the main WDW map and couldn't quite decide if there was a path there.

Robo will no doubt post a map, but, yes, there is a cut-through by the Plaza Restaurant before you get to the Hub.

Yes there is though with construction going on for more walking room I don't know if it's available for use.

There is (was) a walkway from Main Street to the Tomorrowland bridge. I am thinking that may be closed now with the hub construction. If still open, that is where it is at. Or cut through Tomorrland Terrace itself.

During super busy nights, like the 3rd and 4th of July, you can go behind Main Street, through that parking lot and enter Tomorrowland between Buzz and CoP.

Yes, that walkway was open as of last Friday, but if you're planning on using a shortcut at rope drop, they had more ropes up in Tomorrowland holding everyone back. There were 4-5 CM's ther and they gave instructions that once the pulled the ropes, guests were to WALK behind the row of CM's towards Space Mtn. Of course, people couldn't contain themselves and once SM as in view, the crowd basically overtook the CM's anyway as a crush of people ran and tried to cram into the queue at once.
