short cut from summer bay to wdw

Hi, I know that this has been addressed before, but I could'nt find it in a search. does anyone remember the short cut using Sherberth road to WDW from Summer Bay resort? We are staying the Dec 3-10th. Is anyone else?

Hi,
We used this route when we stayed at the Holiday
Inn Express at Summer Bay. You just go east on
Hwy. 192 and take a left on Sherberth Road. It is
the light right in front of the Holiday Inn maingate
west. Once you make the left off of 192 you will
take a right onto Osceola Parkway. Then you just
follow the signs to where you want to go.
Here is a link to a map of WDW.
It does not show Sherberth Road but it comes into
Osceola Parkway where the 4 lane ends going toward
Animal Kingdom Lodge. Good Luck

Another short cut might be Black Lake Rd which parallels 192 without all the lights. It comes into Sherberth Rd right at 192, so you would just make a left turn onto Sherberth.

Definitely take Black Lake to Sherbeth Rd. We stayed at Summer Bay last July and found it to be very helpful. Black Lake is on your left at a set of lights right near Orange Lake Resort. It takes you parallel to 192 behind the stores, restaurants, etc. When the road ends take a left onto Sherbeth Rd and you'll come into Disney near AK. Watch for the Disney signs or you'll end up at AK Lodge.
