Short BWV TR

Just back yesterday from at week at BWV. We were in a 1BR Room 3093, overlooking the quiet pool and community hall. Loved the location-near the stairs to get to the pool. Short walk to elevators. The room was in good condition. It needs a bit of TLC, but everything was in working order and fully stocked. DVD player ate a disc-maintenance wasn't able to get it out either! Mousekeeping (Elizabeth) was very kind and thorough-even leaving us clean sheets for the aerobed we brought from home.
Although the parks were packed, we managed to do everything and came home exhausted! We ate at Mama Melrose (very good service, if a bit slow); Spoodles (just okay-atmosphere was like a lodge dining hall); Teppan Edo (totally yummy and fun); Sci Fi Diner (kids and parents enjoyed).
Of our group of four parents and four 11 year olds - parents pick Soarin' and Test Track as ride favorites; kids picked Rockin RC, TofT and Mission Space as theirs Total number of MM ice cream novelties consumed=32
Transportation worked great. The longest wait we had was 45 min. leaving WWS early from a game (too hot for the kids). Otherwise, the buses and monorail and ME were on time, albeit very crowded.
Thanks for all your advice in making this trip truly wonderful!
All in all, any of the inconveniences we encountered were probably due to the deluge of guests during spring break.

Thanks for the trip report. I don't see us traveling to WDW during March or April because of the large crowds....glad it didn't get to you! Was the DVD that got "eaten" yours or did you borrow it from BWV? If yours, did they compensate you in any way for the lost DVD? Or did you just chalk it up to one of those things?

The DVD was my son's - The Bee Movie. I didn't ask to be compensated or anything. We just chalked it up to one of those things that could happen anywhere. In the scope of a terrific week, we were okay with it.
