since I'm a self-confessed shopaholic, is there anything in particular I should be looking to buy while in St. Thomas or Antigua. I have a particular affinity for crystal.

If anyone knows of any deals just too good to pass up, would appreciate the info. Would like to start looking at stateside prices now so will have a reasonable comparision.

We haven't been there in a few years, but St Thomas did have decent (not spectacular, drop dead OMG) prices on crystal.

Being Irish, we have a good collection of waterford. We go back and forth to Ireland regularly, and the best prices I've ever gotten were at the Duty free store in Shannon Airport.

Second best was at a Catalog store who clearly had no idea how to price Champage flutes and priced four for $50.

After that, I would say it was the "Little Switzerland" in Charlotte Amaille (Sp?) in St Thomas.

They did a great job packing it, as well.
