Can you get your DLP shopping sent back to your hotel if you're staying onsite? In WDW we were always asked if we wanted this service when we bought something, but was never asked at DLP, so was just wondering if they do it too?

You can do it but have to ask for it. It also has to be before a certain time each day - I think 3.00 but Im not certain

Cool, thanks. Do you know what happens after that? Do you have to collect it from the shop at the hotel or reception? Or is it delivered to your room?

you collect it from the shop in your hotel. You are given a slip to show to collect it

Great, thanks. Not even sure if we'll use it or not lol, we waited till the last day to do all our shopping the last time, but it's good to know eh? :rotfl:

You do need to ask for this upfront though BEFORE they ring your purchases through as it requires a special form completing and it is for purchases before 3pm. You then collect the purchases at the gift shop in your hotel. Remember this is for onsite Disney hotels only.

The offsites do it too (Explorers, Holiday Inn, Kyriad and Dreamcastle) and definitely ask for this service before they ring your purchases up. If you don't they have to refund everything then process it again and although the CM may not mind it doesn't go down very well with the other people waiting in the queue behind you! ;)

If you miss the cut-off time then your goods will be delivered next day which is fine so long as it's not your last day.

Great thanks a lot. It sounds more hassle than it's worth I guess. Do you really have to fill out a form? Do you need to do that every time you purchase something or just the first time?

the CM fills in the form with your details and then prints off a special itemised receipt which is attached to the bag

Good to know - I didn't realise that - is that a newer thing as am sure when we were at Explorers a couple of years ago we either never spotted they were doing it or they didn't offer it then.
