Shopping tips for all you western cruisers!!

We just got back on Sunday from a "Magical" week on the western Magic. Here are a few shopping tips that I haven't seen on the boards and thought I'd share them! If you love shoes..and what lady out there doesnt'...you need to go the the Kinos sandals store in Key West. It is right off Mallory Square. Just ask any of the locals, they'll give you directions. These sandals are made right there in Key West and sell for $8 a pair. I bought 2 and have been wearing them everyday since!!! In Grand Cayman, all you hear about are the Tortuga rum cakes. After sampling them, we found that we like Blackbeards rum cakes better...moister, more flavors, but not as much rum as the Tortuga. Check out both stores and have lots of samples before you buy! In Cozumel, don't miss Los Cinco Soles. The store is to the left of the dock about 10 blocks down the street. For 14.99 we bought their Mexican survival kit...a great beach bag, a Mexican blanket, 2 shot glasses and a liter of gold Tequila!!! Great souvenirs from a great cruise!
Also, check out Kerri (the DCL shopping expert). She's on the cabin TV everyday talking about the great buys you can find in various ports. Some shops, especially in Cozumel, give out free gifts! Now get out there and shop!!
