Sorry about hounding you guys lately, you'd swear I've never been to Florida before with all my bazillion questions!! I'm wondering about the best places for shopping. We usually go to the Prime Outlets at the end if I-Drive but wanted to check out other places this time too.

We usually visit the premium outlets off Vineland Ave and the Florida Mall.

At the mall DD nearly always comes home with clothes from Macy's and DH likes the Apple Store. I have to go smell the croc shop - don't know what it is but I love the smell of a new pair of crocs :rotfl2:

Florida Mall is our favourite place to shop in Orlando. We usually always visit Mall at Millennia too but that is more for the Cheesecake Factory than the shops as the shops are a bit more upmarket there.

Mall at millenia is fab
Orlando premuim outlets both at top of idrive and bineland is also good

Florida mall has got alot better over the years

We also love super target and walmart and a place call the loop

we shop for groceries at publix (1 at US192&535, 1 on US192 westbound past AKL)

we like Super Target for some clothes, and other items (water enhancer, toiletries, and so on) both targets around property are located just across the street from the 2 Publix

Walmart for the very cheap clothing item (with the currency exchange rate it's almost like it's free). There is one on 535 halfway between crossroads/I4 and US192

Florida Mall always deserve a visit (Sears, Macy's, JC Penney, Crocs, Old Navy ... man I could make you a directory of what's in there ... oh, and did I mention the M&M's store :D )

For the outlets we go to the Premium Outlets at the top of IDrive. Same as the ones on Vineland, but we find those at the top of IDrive to be nicer (more stores and more stuff to buy)

Mall at the Millenia is ... well ... too posh for us :)

We do both Premium outlets, I-drive and Vineland. We also do the Florida Mall, Mall of Millenia, Walmart and if we have time and money left we go to the LBV factory outlets. I LOVE shopping :goodvibes

I like spending a few hours in the Florida Mall. It`s more of an `American` experience than other places which seem geared for tourists visiting,so nice to just wander around. It`s like a much smaller Trafford Centre, you know, regular shops, rather than Outlet. Its also quite easy to get to as it`s straight along one road from I-Drive.For someone like me who has no large shops nearby, I quite like a visit to Target and Walmart too.

Thanks guys! I'll write those places down in my notes and make sure to try most (hopefully all lol!) of them ;)

I'd echo almost all of the above, but I think a lot of people underestimate Target. There are 2 on US 192, one at Marker 12 and one at Marker 6 (I think!). When we lived in the US we were huge Target shoppers and we always go back there when we're in FL to stock up on stuff. You can get some really good prices on electrical products (last year I bought a digital camcorder for $149) and they often run deals where you buy particular items and get a free gift card.

Florida Mall is the cheaper of the options. Mall of Millenia is the "upmarket" mall in the area with the designer stores. Not so keen on the outlets, we only really go to buy Birkenstocks there.
