So my friend and I are hoping to maybe go shopping one day on our vacation. And I'd like to go home with something that doesn't have Mickey on it (athough I'm sure to have many of that too) I've been told that there are two malls; the Premuim Outlet and the Prime Outlet. So I guess my question is,
for the regular person (who's a size 20 btw) which mall is best to do some shopping in?
Which one is closer to Downtown Disney?
For those who have done both, which one did you like best?
Any help anyone could give me would be great, thanx so much! :disrocks:

I'm going to meet my Uncle at Shades of Green this weekend and figured I would check out the Outlets near DTD while I'm there.

I know that Premium and LBV are the two closest to DTD. I'll let you know how they are when I get back on Sunday! :sunny:

I'll look forward to your response too. Although I'm looking to go the the discounted Disney stores at these malls. So if you happen to stop by one of their Character places in these malls, please fill us in on the details.

I'll be going in early May.

Thanks in advance and have a great weekend. :teeth:

I just got back from Orlando yesterday and I shopped at both outlet malls. The Premium outlet mall was much better than the Prime One outlet mall. I guess it depends on what you are looking for. There are higher end stores at Premium Outlet (Ie: Coach, Dooney and Bourke, Ralph Lauren, etc.). They do have a Gap outlet there too. It is also much closer to DW, just an exit or so away. The Prime One Outlets are a little farther away, but not too much farther. They have a Gap, Liz Claiborne, Bass, Childrens Place etc. The stores are more run down looking and a ton of the stores appeared closed.
I went to the Character stores at both locations too. Tne one at the Premium Outlet Mall was pretty nice. They had a lot of dated stuff, ie: 2004, 2005. Some shirts, golf shirts for guys, some cute pj stuff for women. Some Christmas tree ornaments for different resort hotels. Pretty cool stuff.

Thanks that would be great! Let me know what you think. I think BLV has been remaned Prime Outlets, I think I read somewhere. (I could be totally wrong). To the 2nd post, I know that which ever outlet it is that has 2 malls, the bigger of the Disney outlets has closed. but the smaller is still in Mall 1 I think I read. Someone who can actually say and not just say "i think i read" please respond haha

You're right. There were two Disney Character Stores at the Prime Outlet Mall and one was closed. The other was really run down.
There was a store at Premium Outlets as well. It was open and had quite a bit of stuff.

Also I believe the Belz outlet is now the Prime One Outlet.

Oh good - well at least for me. Looking at my material, looks like I'm headed to the Preminum Outlet Mall. So I'll be able to hit the Disney store.

I'm really on the hunt for a bathroom Mickey - white ceramic type- soap holder. I broke mine last year and during my last visit to the world, they no longer carry that bathroom line.

Hoping to find it in the mall.

Thanks everyone.
