Shopping pass at parks

We will not be arriving until around 9pm on June 10th. I am wanting to see about going to MGM that night to get Star Wars souvenirs. However, I do not want to use a full day ticket for a couple of hours to go there that night. I know you use to be able to get one hour shopping passes and go into some of the parks to shop. Is this still something you can do?

I haven't heard of anyone getting shopping passes in quite a while, especially for special events. Last time I asked about these, I was met with blank stares and baffled smiles from the guest relation CMs. So... chances are slim. I wouldn't bother - just go on the morning of the next day. No merchandise is going to sell out that particular night over any others.
