We have used the "shipping" back to our resort on several trips. At WL we had our packages waiting in our room the next afternoon, at AS-sports, we went to the gift shop. I have also used the home shipping, it does save us $$ on overweight fees at the airport for our luggage!!! plus, our vacation lasts a little longer when we receive packages from disney after we get home

We also had something shipped to our house. Hubby got a customized glass mug done on Main Street. Saved us on tax and they were offering a free shipping special for some reason, can't remember now. She said it would take about 14 days. NO biggie to us. Funny thing is we got home 4 days later and guess what beat us home?? You got it, hubbys mug!

I've read that stores in the theme parks will send your packages to your resort for you??? Wondering if you have to have a certain size or spend a certain amount...or will them send a $10 purchase to your resort for you?

They will send anything back to your resort, even a postcard! We especially like to send our pictures (the ones you take on Splash Mountain, Tower of Terror, etc.) back to the room so they don't get ruined. They don't bring them to your room, you have to pick it up at your resort's store/gift shop. Remember, they won't ship them back to your room if it is one or two days before your departure.
