Shopping in Buffalo

I would like to go Buffalo for shopping. Which inn or hotel near Walden Galleria would you recommend? Is Walden Galleria close to airport?
Also, do you have any tips for shopping in U.S.? What is the tax rate? Is it good deal to buy electronics?

i would go to the Millenium Hotel (its right across the parking lot from the Walden galleria and you can walk over). When we use th Millenium for our Park-Sleep-Fly package, the shuttle journey takes about 10 minutes.

As for your shopping tips, they pay state tax (not sure for NY).The prices are definitely cheaper but whether its s a good deal depends on how long are you out the country (your annual allowance will vary),if you are over your allowance what will the duty be .

Another vote for the Millenium. I have stayed at others. The airport is about 15 minutes away. But the outlets are than about 30 minutes away. I have also stayed near the outlets but the Millenium is my favorite.
