Our church kitchen has a hodge podge of water pitchers and never enough of them, so I am determined to find some decent ones to replace them. The plan is to purchase 20. There is a hotel supply store in a town about an hour away, but I won't be there for a couple of weeks. If I can find something with good reviews, I will buy them online. So, if you like to shop online without spending your own money
(and who doesn't like doing that?), I welcome your assistance.
Specifications:
* 2 quart capacity, which is 64 oz. (no more, no less)
* CLEAR plastic. Completely clear, not frosted, etc.
* Must have lid that will stay on when pouring
* Do not want the type with the plunger thing for mixing
* Can't be very curvy, as we often need to fit many of these in the refrigerator at the same time.
* Needs to be sturdy and stand the test of time.
If you have personal experience with a particular pitcher, all the better! One pitcher I found that I would like to know more about is this $10 one from the container store:
http://www.containerstore.com/shop/...itchers?productId=10011124&N=74105&mr=pitcher
It has a great price point, but I don't know if they would last very long.
I've also come across the brand "Zak" and their pitchers generally run around $17 each. Not sure if it would be any better than the $10 pitcher ?? If they're not any better, we don't need to spend $7 more each.
The church kitchen is used several times per week by different groups (all different ages) within the congregation, so these things can't be whimsy-flimsy. There is a dishwasher, but it isn't usually used for anything plastic.
If you are so inclined and like to online shop, I would greatly appreciate your help and opinions.
Thanks!
