Do DVC owners get a discount at the World of Disney Store at downtown disney?

I got a discount with the Disney Visa. The discount was either better than DVC, or there wasn't one with DVC.

Yes we just returned last weekend and this is a new perk. Seems DVC membership will get you a 10% discount at most places and it includes groceries at your resort store. However, please note, that most places we went they wanted your actual DVC membership card and a picture ID. This was asked everywhere. My DD who just became a member just days prior to the trip, stopped at SSR and picked up a permanent card for both herself and her DH. She got the discount everywhere she asked to include the flower and garden shops around EPCOT. We were hitting them when the merchandise went 50% off last weekend. Since we also have APs, we could pull out either for the discount. It was nice using it at the candy/ice cream store on the BW for the discount there too.
