Just wondering if anyone has shopped on Black Friday online? I am pretty sure Toys R Us has the deals for online customers, but was wondering about Walmart or Target?? Anyone know anything about this?
Thank you!

THe day after THanksgiving..all the sales. No idea why it is called that though...

I have heard that it is called that because it is the day that retailers start making a profit (in the black) as opposed to being in the red.

yes do check the link that jbdreamer posted...someone posted it on the budget board the other day! They have the Wal-Mart add listed and have said other ads should be out in the couple weeks :)

Oh, that's right! I have heard that before - forgot that.

I did it last year with Best Buy. I was able to get the same Xbox game online for the same price than in the store, and the shipping was free too I think...

It was a great deal.

Yeah, I did it last year with Best Buy. It worked out perfectly!...I didn't have to wake up early, didn't have to worry about crowds since I was at home, and they offer free shipping! I'm doing it again this year, too!

To those of you that ordered online last year, when did you place your order? The day before Thanksgiving, T-day or the day after?

The day after Turkey Day...

Last year, I had to work on Black Friday. As I was passing the mall on the way to the office, I felt like "gee, I'd like to go shopping too"! I ended up ordering a 27" t.v. from Circuit City's website. I got such a good deal on it and the t.v. has a great picture. DH and I had gone later that night after most folks had done their shopping and gone home to pick it up.
