Shopping: Any good Outlet Malls

Being a Canadian, we would like to do a bit more than enjoying WDW for the full week. Especially my MIL, who likes shopping. I would assume shopping in Disney would be expensive (if that's true - all shopping budget will be allocated to our little kid).

We will be renting a car for a few days. Are there any good outlet malls that you would recommend? I read a bit about Premium Outlet and Belz, which is better. With the CAD becoming a bit stronger recently, I can afford to spend a little more as a tourist

Last time DH and I were down there, we really enjoyed the Orlando Premium Outlets. Their right off the highway so their easy to find and had some good stores.....Coach, Lacoste, Ralph Lauren, etc. Here is a link to their website, happy shopping

My favorite is what was called the Belz factory outlets now called prime outlets. They have 2 disney, hard rock cafe, universal and many more. They are at the end of international drive.

Thanks! We will be going to Belz Factory Outlet Mall (Prime) during one of the days, and drop by Orlando Premium Outlets on the way to MCO. Just curious, Belz vs Premium, which has the better deal?

How long is the drive from WDW to Belz (Prime)?

Personally, even though the Premium OUtlets have a better, more upscale look than do the Prime(Belz) OUtlets, I like the Prime better. We normally only go for the Character Warehouse, and I find it a little better than Character Premiere at Premium. If you want really high end outlets, then Premium OUtlets is the place to go, and its a nice place to walk(though the walking is mainly outside). Prime also has some nice shops(several different buildings), some outside some in, but I guess I have paid more attention to the Disney shop there. We get most of our souvenirs from here. We make this our first day stop, after an awesome meal at Sweet Tomatoes!!

Thanks mickeymousemom! Is Prime far away from WDW? We may sequeez 2-3 hours time from the day we go to MGM, wondering if that's enough. Do we need to get on highway, or just go along International Drive?

How about Florida Mall? Any attractions? Is it close to airport?
