Please tell me details of your experience. What were you charged for duty and taxes etc. ? How long did the package take to arrive? Any info is much appreciated.

I'm looking at ordering the grad mouse ears for my DD who is graduating from university. Since the ceremony has been covid cancelled I'm trying to figure some special things to do for her. We probably would have planned a WDW trip to celebrate and I know I would have splurged on all the grad merch in the parks. The shipping fee for the ears is $40 which is painful but there are a couple of other items I might also order to ease the pain. These could be the most expensive ears of all time...$30 for the ears, $40 for shipping +++ all in USD.

Have you tried eBay? I found some Class of 2021 graduation hats and Mickey ears. Their prices are high but at least you can estimate the overall costs.

I placed two ShopDisney orders recently. Both orders were just less than $100USD excluding shipping, shipping was $39.50USD. Both were received within 5 days, which I was very surprised and happy with. Total duty/taxes (incl. the $11.30 UPS custom brokerage fee) for each were around $28/29CAD, which I paid online before delivery. I heard there are other ways to get it here a bit cheaper but I still have lots of Disney gift cards (from using PC Points) from our cancelled March break 2020 trip, which made it much less painful. Hope this helps!

I found one on eBay that with shipping and import fee comes to $55 USD. Not too bad and it’s already on its way. Hopefully I won’t have to pay anything more but if I do that’s fine. When I thought I wasn’t going to be able to get the ears I mentioned to DD that I had tried and she was disappointed....even though she had not asked for them or even knew I was looking. So this will be a nice surprise. They should arrive by end of April.
