Shopaholic Goes Disney.... A Pre-Trip Report (Updated 12/26)

Ok. I've hoped onto the Vera Bradley bandwagon. Some girls on my dance team have the cutest tote bags and I was telling them how I've been thinking about buying the hipster. I checked out the sale items online and noticed that the pink elephant print is one of the prints on sale. Well, my friend OWNS the hipster in pink elephant and is going to let me borrow it for my WDW trip! I'm so excited! My DH would flip if I bought another purse/bag. I have WAY too many for my own good.

Anyways my hubby is going to be so jealous when he finds out I'm going to be doing my hair and make-up almost every day I'm in Disney..he's going to look at the pics and be like who is that LOL!!!

My birthday present came in the mail today! (Logan was sad that it didn't get here until 2 days after my birthday, but I like presents any day of the year) He got me the Pink Elephants Hipster! I'm so excited. I've already moved some of my stuff into it.

I agree with Bella whole-heartedly! Pink is my favorite color and Elephants are my favorite animals. Rabbits are a close 2nd--well maybe a tie--I have rabbits in my kitchen and my little girls room!! They are just so homey!!!

Sorry to keep talking about Vera bags, but I thought you might like this story Soleil!

Remember I bought a Vera hipster on ebay a couple of months ago? I ended up buying the pink elephant hipster, and I love it! It's a great size to fit my camera, water bottle, etc... And of course, very cute!

Anyway, a couple of weeks ago, I got another package in the mail. I opened it, and found ANOTHER Vera Bradley hipster in the pink elephant design! The ebay seller totally sent me another one!!

So now I have two!!! Exactly the same!! The seller was from America somewhere, and she hasn't contacted me about it. She probably has no idea she sent the bag to me twice. Although it's a pretty silly mistake to make!! I keep meaning to email her about it.... Hehheee.

Actually I have to go return the shirt I bought today and get it in a new size and the store has it for cheaper so I'm getting myself a deal and then maybe buying another shirt if I see one I like LOL!!!

I'm glad he approves! Logan's fine with it, but my brother has made a ton of comments to me since my Hipster came in the mail. He keeps saying, "Why do you need another purse?" "Why can't you just use one you already have?"

Oh... that was my Bachelorette Party. It said 'Miss Bachelorette'. I didn't want anything raunchy, so my sister got me a crown and sash.

But if we are talking pageant titles... I proudly held the title of "Miss Chicken Festival 1999." Seriously!!!!

Onto the Uggs. I was dropping paperwork off at DS's school today and I saw the cutest little baby girl rockin' her baby Uggs. It really makes me want a little girl!!

Last week when the “big announcement” was released, but poor little heart was shattered into a million pieces. (I’m being dramatic here!) I had promised ‘G’ that we would save money once a code came out and this fabulous-deal-of-a-code didn’t seem to fit along with our plans. We arrive on the 3rd and that’s not part of the deal. We leave on the 9th and the 5th-9th only makes 5 nights.

Fortunately, the next day I discovered that after staying 4 nights you can get a free night/day. I kept my fingers crossed and called the lovely people at Disney Reservations. I got a wonderful CM who applied the code to my reservation and not only did I save $340, but I also received the $200 gift card!

Woohoo!!!!

And now for my latest purchase…..

Actually, it’s not been purchased yet because I am searching the net for the best deal.

As you can imagine, my darling ‘G’ has been wallowing in self-pity since I started bringing home all those precious VB goodies. “What about me?” He says. (No, he doesn’t really say that….actually it’s more like” seriously…another one?”)

Since I love my DH so much, for his big B-day next week, I am purchasing him his own man-purse to carry around ‘the world’.

Honestly, it’s a selfish purchase – because it’s a camera bag for my camera. Yikes! I’m terrible! He’s actually been asking for one for a while and I think he will be proud of my ‘good investment’ of a b-day gift. I let him think the camera is half-his after all.

Don’t worry, he’s getting other completely selfless gifts for his big day. It just so happens that this one is Disney related and I’m completely out of things to write about this week.

In 54 days I'll be dining with these beautiful ladies:

And you will love your hands free, too!! Great purchase!!! Your trip is really sneaking up on you, isn't it?? WOW...54 more days, that will fly by! I can't believe I'm down to only 25!!
