Shop Disney Parks App Accepts GCs & Rewards Cards

i got a notification yesterday about the change. You have to update your app to have the option show up under payment methods. A welcome improvement. I wish they had rolled this out before the holidays but nice to see that they made the change.

FINALLY! I lugged home large pieces of the monorail set because I had thousands of dollars in gift cards and the app wouldn't accept them (the parts weren't on disneystore.com and I got 20% off with my AP, so I stupidly bought the pieces and used them as my carry on luggage). It would have been so much easier if I could have just ordered them on the app with the gift cards and had them shipped for free (shipping in the parks would have negated the 20% savings).
