I suffered with PF for years--went to a podiatrist and my orthopedic practice, got the shots, bought custom made orthodics (sp) and bought 2 pairs of expensive shoes to put the orthodics in for a total of $600, wore a boot to bed for 2 years..and guess what?? Still in pain.
Ironically, I was home from work one day and turned on the TV to find a friend of mine on a local news show. She was talking about her PF and how she had gone to a physical therapist to help her. I called her immediately to get the PT's phone number...and the rest is history.
Turns out the problem was that my hips were off causing my feet not to strike the ground correctly causing the PF. This was 3 years ago and still no heel pain. Although I'm glad that the pain is gone, I wish I would have gotten the solution sooner!! I do only wear Keens to WDW, I have three pairs.
