Shoes for kids in the park

I'm thinking about getting Crocs for me & the kids, & I want the black disney Crocs. Do you think that the black will make them to hot to wear down there? Or should I opt for a lighter color?

I live in FL... I'd get the lighter color. I never wear black shoes when I'll be outside. Ever.

To the OP: take both. He'll probably want the crocs, but better safe than sorry.

Whatever sneakers they normally wear. Pretty much what we get at Target.

Go for it, Java--take the plunge!!! I actually have Airwalks (the Payless brand of Crocs) and they are by far the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. They are the only shoes I wear, now, except for wearing my running shoes to the gym. I love the Disney Crocs, too, but I'm not sure about paying $35 for them (Airwalks are only $10-15). Maybe one day...
