Shoes Again

Add my vote for New Balance cross-trainers or walking shoes. I have heel spurs & a bad back, so I am very careful about shoes. I never wear any shoes without also tossing in insoles (the gel ones may be helpful to you, although I'm not crazy about them) & arch supports. I've noticed that when I don't have these additions tucked into my shoes, the ground seems a lot harder!

Does anyone wear or know about Aerosoles? I just got some of the backless kind the other day, and they seem comfortable enough...I have been wearing them with barefeet so far. Would I need to wear some kind of light sock with them at WDW? Thank you. :goodvibes

We've made 4 trips to WDW so far this year (planning another for Christmas). Each time, I end up wearing my Teva Stratums. I cannot say enough about these sandals. You should be able to order from one of the on-line stores year round. (They are not sold where I'm presently living, so I always have to do this.). Last week, I wore my Saucony athletic shoes one time and ended up with wet, uncomfortable feet. The shoes did not dry until after we got home. Yuck!! Dh wore his Saucony's with greater success. He also wore his leather Tevas. Younger kids wore StrideRite sandals most of the trip. I can't say that I noticed what our 13 yo ds was sporting.

I found a pair of tennis shoe/sandals (closed toe, open heal) by Tommy H... they are perfect for Florida. Not too hot. Dry quickly. VERY light and sooooo comfortable.
