Shoe wearin' in the parks

The pavement is so unbelievably hot. I can't even imagine being barefoot. Regardless of anyone's feelings on going sans shoes, Disney requires footwear on all guests.

I'm with you OP, I like to be barefoot as often as I can, especially in the summer. It's not an option at WDW, so I don't really even think of it. I'd only be concerned with my feet getting tired after a lot of walking at WDW, but otherwise I'm a barefoot person myself. When we go to the waterparks, I take off my flip flops as soon as we pass the tap points and they don't go back on until we're walking through the parking lot (which is VERY hot since it's blacktop). But then I take them off again when I drive...I drive barefoot in summer.

Barefoot is sort of a movement. Maybe she/he is a part of that?

Anyway to each their own but no not allowed in parks.
