Shoe security tag...in case kids get lost

A couple years ago I bought through the internet a “shoe tag” that you attached to your children’s shoe with your cell. info, etc. in case they got lost. I forgot where I bought them; does any one know any site that sells this kind of thing or something like it?

Long time ago, hard to remember!

I ordered two. One got lost because it was on a shoe that velcro'd and the velcro opened up and it slid off somewhere. It works much better on shoes with laces, IMO. Mypreciouskid also has other types of ID too.

Not about the shoe tags, but an in case your chld gets lost tip from a parenting magazine.
If you have a digital camera, take a picture of each of your kids in the morning before you leave for the park (dressed, not in pjs). Then if your child is lost you can be sure you have a picture with exactly what they were wearing. You will be able to show the CM the picture on the viewfinder. I know if DS or DD got lost I would panic, so I thought this was a good tip.

My sil did the dog tags at the machine in wallmart. A pink heart for my neice and a blue star for my nephew. She put the childs first name and her cellphone number. Simply put them on the shoelace - she put them about 1/2 way up the laces and your good to go.

Thanks for the tips. I've also heard that in case your child gets lost, to instruct him to go to another mommy and point to his shoes, so she can call the parents.
