I was just curious if anyone has tried these type of crocs. I am considering purchasing them for my upcoming July trip. I know the best are a nice comfy pair of sneakers; I even purchased Reebok Easy Tones for the trip ;) But, It's so uncomfortable in the heat with socks and all that jazz. I want to try something different, and these caught my eye. Opinions? TIA <3

I don't know about the crocs you are talking about. I have never had a pair like that. But I have several pair like sscassel is talking about (flip-flop style) and I love them! I have worn that type on two previous wdw trips and just bought a new pair for my trip in 3 1/2 weeks! They are seriously the only shoes I would consider wearing to WDW! They are lightweight, airy, and so comfortable! It's a personal choice what style you get but the flip-flop style works best for me. Hope you find the ones you like!

I bought Keen water shoes for the family. Amazingly comfortable, well vented and worth the money (kids about 60 adult 100-120)

On my last trip I had bought a nice pair of Nike's, very light and comfortable....However on my fourth day at the park, I had blisters and my feet just hurt. I went into one of the shops in the parks and found these cute pair of crocs, they are tan, loafers with Mickey Mouse on them, they were amazing, my feet felt great. I will always wear crocs from now on.

I have a couple pairs of similar (non-Croc) shoes like those and wore them at WDW 2 years ago without a single problem. Better than my Nike sneakers. If they get really wet, dry them with some paper napkins and keep going

I wore a pair very similiar to those on my last trip and LOVED them. Not a single blister and easy to dry off after water rides.

I have worn tennis shoes, crocs (all different styles), flats, mini boots, uggs (in winter), and flip flops. Flip flops have always been my best bet. I have a pair of teva flip flops that have a thick sole and wide comfy straps. They dry super quick and form to your feet giving you support where you need it. I have a friend who wore Yellow Box sandals and hers worked great too.

Hope that helps!:wave2:

I usually stick with flip flops in the park for summer. I live in Florida, and I usually never wear tennis shoes, so when I do, my feet feel REALLY hot. Also, they will take forever to dry if they get wet in a summer storm or water ride, like KRR. I love REEF flip flops, they are super comfortable, and have arch support, which is great!

I second SSCASSEL with the Croc Athens. They are super comfortable. The only thing I would say about the Kadee pair you were looking at, is they your feet will really sweat. I have Marnie (http://www.crocs.com/crocs-marnie-flat/11124,default,pd.html?cid=50X&cgid=women-footwear-flats), and I love them, but even when I wore them in the colder weather, my feet would sweat, and I would slide around in the shoes. I love them, but that is the only drawback! :)

Happy Shoe Shopping! :)

I basically use slippers for such kind of vacation. It is easy to carry and gets away from wearing socks...Damn they looks cool............

I don't know if I would get them. Think my feet would feel sweaty? I bought these at home & at Disney (has Mickey on them) and they are very comfy. This is coming from someone who spends over $100 on a good pair of sneakers to take to Disney. Won't do that any more. We go when it's hot and I have always worn socks & sneakers. Not anymore- switch to these crocs. Very comfy for all day.

I have the ones that you are talking about and would you believe that they hurt the bottom of my feet after wearing them for a while? It has to be the texture, because I have worn crocs before and I never had a problem at all. :confused3

I swear by yellow box flip flops myself. They are cute, you can dress up or down & get away with it and they have never hurt my feet. :thumbsup2

Now my DD is wanting some Chaco's because some of her friends have them and they say that they are perfect for touring in. One of her friends bought them before a trip to Universal and her feet never hurt her. They are expensive though, to me, but she is sold on them. Here is an example.

One the advice of others on this board I recently bought a pair of Teva Mush flip flops for out up coming trip. I have never gone to the parks in anything other than my most comfy tennis shoes but everyone was raving about these so I thought I would try(they were very reasonably priced at $20.). I got them over a week ago and have worn them constantly since. I have been walking three miles a day to shape up for Disney and I wear them on my walks. They are great. I have extremely high arches and they support them better than any shoe I have. I plan to buy a couple more pair before we go. I do not know what I will do when winter comes.

Just wanted to say that I have these (crocs kadee) in both lavendar and brown - bought them specifically for my Disney trip in July and try to wear them as often as I can these days because they are just so darned comfy. I wore heels one day last week to work and got a blister on my heel in the worst place. The only shoes I could wear after that were my Crocs - didn't create pressure pain!

I find that the cut outs on these really help with the sweaty feet issues. These also seem to run slightly bigger than other crocs of the similar "flat" style, but I found this to be a really good thing since it helps circulate the air.
