Shockwave Troubles.

Today I tried to get on, but then noticed I needed to download the latest version of Shockwave. So I did, then after it restarted my computer I still couldn't get on and it still said I needed to download it. I keep trying to re-download it or something but nothing happens and I am now unable to play vmk. Any help on this? Like how to uninstall shockwave and install it again or something?

hi, i am NOT a computer whiz, but are you getting a message about Xtra files? If you are, go to the shockwave page. It will tell you there how to uninstall what you have, and download the FULL version. The link on vmk is the slim version. That won't work on my computer. And i've seen others with the same problem. After i downloaded/ installed the full version, it works fine..no problems. If you have windows, the "stand alone" version is the full version. Hope this helps. I know the frustration you must feel.

yes it is free. Just keep searching the shockwave site. i don't think i can post the link here. you can look at the support link. but if you look around you will find it on their site. sorry i am not more helpful. like i said i'm not a computer whiz. just got lucky one day.

Well I restarted my computer and was able to get it at last. I think it was becausewhen it offered the toolbar I hit exit thikning it was just there as a sort of pop up thing. -.- What was weird was I resarted my computer earlier and I couldn't do it.
